Apart from the double glazing and microwave, this house could have been used as a film set for Prime Suspect 1973

Extend level with front of house
Wall down garage to create long single garage on right
Section off back of new garage to create utility room
Knock down existing right hand kitchen wall and hallway, so large squarish kitchen
Knock down right hand lounge wall to open up into new dining area. Change right hand lounge window for sliding doors (possibly extending to right).
Not sure what to do with back kitchen wall - keep I think and ditch the window. Not sure I really like totally open plan in a large house.
Then extend upstairs as well...........
Ignore my ramblings .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0 -

It's odd to have a bungalow with so many steps leading up to the front door. It kinda defeats the purpose. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

So well cared for! From an era when things were expected to last. The microwave may not be so very modern, mine is 35 years old and going strong ☺0 -
On the plus side though - good size plot, bright house and good big rooms. I was trying to work out how to extend it so you had a good kitchen diner but still keep a garage:

So very sad that 1960's is still not yet seen as a period to be loved and saved.0 -
