But who knows? Maybe the "Welcome" sign is there for the benefit of great crested newts......0 -
Strip out the sellers clutter and personal belongings, and perhaps re decorate and that's a great house in a great location. The trouble with so many buyers is they just can't see beyond personal belongings that are not to their taste.0 -
And what is wrong with that? I like it.

Have you looked at the room measurements? It has 4 beds squashed into the size of the average 3 bed semi. No kerb appeal at all and it needs stripping out inside and it is next to a bog so a flood risk. Nothing going for it at all.0 -

Really ? They look pretty typical bedrooms to me (last bedroom is often small - used to be called the boxroom in 1930s 3 bed semis)
Bedroom One 12' x 9'9 (3.66m x 2.97m)
Bedroom Two 13' x 8'5 (3.96m x 2.57m)
Bedroom Three 10'1 x 7'7 (3.07m x 2.31m)
Bedroom Four 8'7 x 6'6 (2.62m x 1.98m)
And it's not in any flood risk area according to any environment agency maps (very near one, yes, but not even in the 0.1% zone). I suspect that, like my own house, it's a matter of local geography. The left bank of the local river is 3ft higher than the right - and you have to go a very long way from the river on that right hand side to get three foot above it, so that's the direction the flooding goes.
To be honest, the only real problem with this house is that it is in Thetford ...0 -

On streetview it almost looks like the house next door (attached) is owned by the same people - two poorly maintained houses next to each other in what looks like a street where people look after and maintain their houses and front gardens with some pride.0 -
Um Surely this isn't a Semi-detached house
