The creditor rang DH and said that the decision makers wanted to know if DH had got letters from his other creditors accepting the full and final offers, as they would like to see them.
DH said he would email scanned copies to them, as he does have letters from his three other creditors accepting his full and final offers, as well as letters from them saying thank you for the payment and your account is now settled.
DH is going to email both sets of letters to them when he gets back from his eye appointment.
I don't suppose we will hear back from them before next week , but hopefully they will feel that they have enough information after this to make a decision.
They don't want much do they? Still if they finally accept DH's offer then it will be worth itFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Ok letters scanned and emailed. The ball is back in their court
DH got on ok at his eye test (the bus came this time) but he won't get the result for six weeks. They take photos of the back of the eyes and send them to an expert. Diabetes is one of the leading causes of blindness in the UK
Did another survey today so the total is creeping up . Have a relaxing evening everyone. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I wonder if they want copies of the letters, to make sure you haven’t favoured other debtors over them, you would have thought they could have asked for the info sooner though, hopefully it’s a step in the right direction.
Your husband has my sympathy with the eye test, I have them too, and the drops are not pleasant, also not fun waiting for the results, fingers crossed it’s all ok for him.
