Morning all!
I emptied my pot yesterday as I finally concluded my Xmas list and had all of my shopping ready to purchase. Amazingly we had £627 in total in there!! Therefore I also had some left over to pay off another debt so all is good :j
Thank you to everyone on here who has inspired and got us to where we currently are.
So looking forward to joining the 2018 thread now - I may even start saving early!
Chappie xPAD - Barclayloan - £3078.32/£3758.32
January 2022 Grocery Challenge - £600
Saving for Christmas 2022 - #33 - £1 a day Challenge - £10/£365
Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge 2022 - £8.55/£5000 -
Well done Chappie,
It a good feeling when you have saved for christmas and you dont have to stress over it.

M&S vouchers are in! and another drawdown from Pinecone, bringing my total to:
#3 £583/£6500 -
A bit more to add and have now hit 90% with 2 weeks to go. Still waiting on a couple of tcb's and Boots points from a large purchase so may get closer to target. Last year I spent £550 in total so I'm sure I already have enough and am relaxed about it
#3 £590/£650
Have a good weekend everyone :beer:0 -
Completely lost track of this after buying some presents. Hope to do better next year.
Main problem at the moment is what to actually buy for the people remaining!0 -
Hello everyone,
We're almost there and haven't we all done well?
Some fantastic amounts saved over the year.
I have had a lot of family issues over the last 12 months which means I have been working and trying to juggle elderly parents so haven't been on here as much as I should but...
I am happy to set up this challenge again for 2018 as long as you accept there will be times when I go AWOL for a while but I'm sure you can all carry on without me in those times and I will always pop by whenever I can to update the totals on page 1.
It would be a shame to abandon this challenge now and I am so used, as I'm sure you are too, at putting my ££'s away so let's keep going:)
All totals updated where requested and I will set up a new page for 2018 in the coming days.
Well done to each and everyone of us. I've not cracked open my tins just yet but will do so over the next week or so.
Take care
