Just checked my N S & I values after todays announcement giving negative values for month and large (hundreds of £'s) reduction in value for month.

Anyone else checked theirs?

Yes, they look wrong - not for the first time!

Also getting a value through your account on line and using the calculator comes up with different figures, last month the calculator gave a higher figure.

Is this the NS&I Income Bond Savings account?

I opened one of these yesterday. Money is safe in there, I assume? I intend to put about £19K in there as my Natwest savings account and ISA have just switched to 0.01%!

No. The posts refer to NS&I Index Linked Savings Certificates.

Yes, the site valuation is around £150 less than the calculator valuation which seems around correct. They seem to have revamped the site with a different login regime, no doubt there are gremlins.

As an aside, far from the debates about renewing these when inflation was virtually zero, it now looks as though they will be a great deal the way inflation will be going the next few years :)

I actually thought the calculator valuation looked incorrect.

Last month my certificate was worth £17,484.70

This month it's apparently worth £17,268.90 according to the calculator

    Is it Brexit's fault? ;)

EVERYTHING! that has gone wrong since brexit is the fault of brexit you should know that by now, even things that happened many years before - they too are the fault of brexit....
