ISA rate way above the others . simple advice

Thanks for reading . seen 2 ISA rates at 8.5 and 8.0 in a newspaper advert but cannot see what the catch is . Min £5000 over 5years . advice from you lovely people would be very good thanks . they say FSA covered

They sound like Investment Bonds to me with those rates.
They are not risk free and you could lose your capital.

Alternatively, if they claim that they're covered by the old Financial Services Authority (that was abolished in 2013), then this also wouldn't paint a particularly positive picture about their attention to detail!
