We used to have one of those electronic change counters, but since it gave up the ghost we use the actual jar to put small change into. We then use it on our monthly food shop.
Put £0.21 in this morning before leaving for work.0 -
Ah good idea.
I just like the idea of counting it all up at the end of the year to see how much we have ;-)

Added a wee bit more in over this weekend.
Think that will be it until March, low on funds at the moment so no smoosh to be seen.

I was just paid today otherwise Id be skint too. Last night I robbed my Christmas Fund to pay for 2 bookcases. I am going to be good for the rest of the month as I have a few credit cards to pay off so no more spending.
I got 16p change from posting my fleabay sale which I just put in and I think that's it.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
It's good that you had the fund there so that you could use.
Are you going to budget to pay that amount back to your Christmas fund throughout the year?
I always do stuff like that, end up with a notebook full of IOU's to my savings accounts :rotfl:
Goal for this year is not to dip into them too much, it's a nightmare later on trying to pay it all back
I have found £0.25 in my bag, that will be getting added to the smoosh bottle later on.

Lol, I want to but I always forget!!!! Now you have reminded me. This forum is great as then I can't slip!!!!! hugs, swx
I did steal two £1 coins from the Smoosh Bottle earlier this week, as they will be redundant soon. I know it's in October but I was just making sure I got rid of them!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
