    :)

£1.93 from quidco, and £4.37 from halifax as i must have overpaid on the loan. These have been transferred to my ISA for the moment :)

I am working on our new targets starting 1st July for savings/p.bonds.:j

i love setting goals , it keeps me motivated when i have days when outside influences get me down- bad day at work and other day to day frustrations out of my control:(

When either hubby or i are having a c*ap day we remind ourselves how lucky we are to be in the position we are- loved-happy healthy offspring- debt free- healthy ourselves(tho need to lose a few ponds:o)- and with a lovely exciting future together to look forward to :j

this time next year, if all goes to plan, we will be putting this house on the market, and in the exciting part of new home hunting! i cant wait!:)

Im going to keep myself occupied over the next 12 months saving every penny we can, we will need it if we end up buying the type of property we plan- a doer upper with land :):)

Just paid the last £1741.95 off our mortgage, and as of 4am 26th June 2015 hubby and i are MORTGAGE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!:j:beer::T:)

to celebrate, we are having a night away in our favorite country b&b sunday night, day off work booked for Monday :j

Next week will start phase 3 of our move to the countryside , which will be rebuilding savings, and complteing all diy required on this house to sell it for best price possible in 2016

I originally took this mortgage out November 2004 for 25 years, so with hard work and overpaying, we have paid it off 13 years early :T:j

    Fantastic achievement, well done _party__party__party_
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Just logged onto my online banking, and im officially mortgage free, the mortgage account has gone!

Its strange but nice feeling to think for the time at least, we owe not a penny to anyone, and no one can take the roof over our heads, its a lovely thought..:)

Moving onwards, we have already made a start on our new house in the country 2016 plan, bought £200 of premium bonds last night out of money left after everything paid out, so grand total of £300 in bonds ;) just £39,700 to save in 14 months

I dont beleive in setting easy targets, and this means so much to us both, all the overtime, saving and frugalness will be worth it, and with the odd small treat along the way of course!:rotfl:
