  • Thanks everyone - my mum is out and loving all the attention and my dad running about after her.

How can it be Monday again so soon?! 10 more days until pay day!! My friend has invited me to the Maldives on staff travel at the end of the month for 5 days...All in would cost me about £400 I think...I know I shouldn't but I am really tempted! The draw back of not going means September would be a month of no debt being paid apart from £200 minimum payments coming off the balance as I already have botox and lip fillers happening next month.....

Anyway, nothing much else to report I'm in work with all meals/snacks/drinks so should be a no spend day in here, but will pop to my mums after work and see if she needs anything.

Have a good day everyone x

  • Some good news in work we are getting an extra payment of £200. I mentioned the other day about now when we are off we will now earn an average of our commission, so this is a one off payment they are offering everyone as someone took a similar case to court and won. Don't know when we are getting it as just been confirmed but anything is better than nothing whenever it is x

It is so cheap because of my friends discount and with that payment I have been told about today in work it's really only costing £200.....I know it's not but telling myself that!!

  • Haha, if it was a £400 handbag I'd be dead against, but experiences are so much more worthwhile than things. I hope you go and that you love every moment :).

  • You're quite right Fletcha..I'd tell anyone else to go for it, so looks like I've talked myself into it...that wasn't hard!

Turns out the £200 is the minimal amount offered if you disagree and earned over a certain amount in a certain time you have to appeal it, so that is most full time people so I shall appeal and see what else, but I am happy with £200.

Some more money good news, my bank sent me a letter yesterday saying in March this year they took £31.41 interest and although this was correct they should have let me know and since they never it is being refunded!!

I also need to give those dreaded idiots at Amazon another call...forgot all about them!! xxx

  • Oh, and....I found an order from ASOS that I ordered before going away to Spain but meant to return and then forgot and just saw it in the boot of my car over the weekend....It is over the 30 day refund date, should I just risk it and send back and act daft if they say anything to me...or email them?! The order is now about 2 months old xx

  • Please go on your holiday. I know its delaying things but it sounds like an amazing Opportunity. Just think life is too short to turn that down but only you know what is best for you.
Maldives are on my list. Never been. Looks amazing.

Are you pleased with botox and fillers. I love love love cosmetic surgery.

  • Perhaps email them and tell them you missed the deadline because you were in Spain (they don't have to know for how long) and would they give you credit toward another purchase. Maybe if you don't ask for your money back and are asking for credit they would be willing. They will want to keep you as a customer.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.
