Nutmeg account - "MSE bonus"

Options
I opened a Nutmeg account via MSE on 30th March, expecting after a qualifying period to receive something in the region of £200.

Unfortunately I can't find the original information as the Robo investing page has been updated.

Does anyone remember the details of this please?

The details of the offer are visible on an archived copy of the page at https://web.archive.org/web/20170331173523/https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/robo-funds - the offer expired on 31 March and was only available to the first 2,500 customers, so if you applied on the penultimate day you may have missed out....

Thank you for your very prompt assistance - I had searched but couldn't find this.

Also only open to the first 2,500 customers so if you applied that late you might have missed out. Have you tried sending a nicely worded Nutmail to ask them when you will get your MSE cashback?

We've done well with Nutmeg over the last 2 years in terms of referrals and investment performance and I wish them well growing their customer assets to become profitable.

Still Vanguard are also very good and cheaper because they are not paying out on referrals.

Thanks for all of your input,

I sent a message in my Nutmeg account and this was the response.

    "Thank you for your message.

I am sorry to hear you have not yet received your £200 cashback. There have unfortunately been a few clients whose details were not fed through to us.

However, please leave this with me and I will pass your details to our promotions team to arrange the payment. This should hopefully be with you within 14 days.

If you have any further queries please get in touch."

Today I looked at my account and £200 has been added.

    Result!

Great result. Sometimes in life you just need to ask!

According to the Boring Money research the average cost to acquire a new investment customer is £250 so even if you didn't qualify for whatever reason they might have paid out to keep you happy.

If the money is showing as uninvested cash then don't forget to invest it in your pot.

First time we took an account with Nutmeg in my wife's name we closed it after the incentive paid out and with investment performance were up around £350. I regret that now and we are both with Nutmeg again (up around £150 each plus £175 more incentive in my name) and plan to stay. They even paid £25 for me to re-introduce my wife. So in total up about £850 plus £2k LISA bonus due early next tax year.
