A nsd for me today woop woop. I did take Pickle out for a bit to find some snow on the hill tops to crunch in. Lots of snow, but non of it on public land, so no sledging which was a real shame.

I'm so tired today, I think this week has caught up on me, so I'm going to put Pickle to bed, have a quick trip round the house having a bit of a tidy and then head off to bed myself.

Church tomorrow, then nothing else planned, so potentially a nsd as well, but who knows what will happen.

    Sleep well everyone.

Pickle slept through until 7. I didn't fall asleep as early as I wanted to, but at least I've rested well.

Hopefully there's not a huge amount to do today. A little bit of cleaner proofing this evening, and some meal planning from the stores.

I also need to start packing for our week away.

a very chilled out day here at Wish Towers, church this morning, Pickle had a nap while I watched Criminal Minds then we played trains, watched Stick Man (again!!!) tea, bath & bed.

And a nsd. Woop woop. Doing really well with them this month.

The flyladying is not going well, but the house is pretty much cleaner proofed for tomorrow.

So, time to chill out this evening before the week begins.

Feel your pain with stick man! We've had a poorly boy so it's been that, The Highway Rat and Shaun The Sheep on about a hundred times this week :rotfl:

Seems like you're doing great with the money saving so far this year, well done!

And now the only version of stick man I can get on my phone is the audio described version. Whilst the first time it was interesting, it's now too much talking.

Well, they say pride comes before a fall, I've single handedly managed to demolish the spending pots today.

    Nappy wrapper refills
    Laser printer toner
    Cat food
Huge bottle of shampoo & conditioner
    Bulk buying shower gel
Fill my car up with diesel
    £8 on groceries.
£20 in cash taken out of the bank:
£5 for hubby's bus ticket tomorrow
£5 for soft play - Pickle needed a run around this afternoon and the weather is shocking - come on dry weather we miss the park.
£5 on stamps (work expense, will get reimbursed)
£5 on cafe visit with friend this morning.

I've not logged all the spends yet, but know I will need to juggle some of the pots. Non of it are unplanned spends, it's just all on one day, but should keep us stocked up for a bit.

However all this pales into insignificance when a very close friend has been under the surgeon's knife today and is in a much worse state than was anticipated and has awoken to some truly horrific, life altering news.

Hug your loved ones a little tighter, for a little longer and don't sweat the small stuff.

    Good night all.

Early update tonight as I'm waiting to pick Pickle up. (If I go in too early he's sad)

Friend has come round from anethetic, she's shocked, but not as upset as family anticipated. She keeps pushing the pain relief button though, so she's really quite poorly. I'm going to visit tomorrow.

Have taught half a day today - lovely class, would definitely go back there again.

    Nsd woop woop

Tea in slow cooker and on oven timer. We'll see if that's worked when I get in in a bit.

Some virtual pots fingers shed for the month, so emptied the shrapnel into the mop pot. It's starting to feel like a really long month.

Tomorrow won't be a nsd as I want to pick up a few bits for my friend to treat her.

    Onwards & downwards.

    Wish.

A few. It's, but nothing major. Tomorrow morning needs to be a total blitz.

Glad you had a good teaching day but sorry to hear about your friend. I'm sure your visit will cheer her up. You can't put a price on good friends during challenging times. Xx

evening all, tough day emotional,y having been to see my friend. I'm hopeful for a positive outcome, but we need to wait 2 weeks for the lab work to be done.

I do need to put £3.50 a week (so £17.50 a month to account for 5 week months) aside to pay for parking so I can aim to visit each week, as Pinky Said, you can't put a price on friendship in challenging times. Sadly, there is a financial cost and I'm just going to plan for it. Today I took her some moisturising cream, crayons and a mindfulness colouring book. I won't take her something every time, but she said I chose well today, so will update and replace as needed.

This morning was very spendy. A few bits for church which will get reimbursed, some groceries, 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of work sheets and a completely unnecessary top for Pickle, but he'll love it. All from the outlet centre. So, once I've ynab'd everything and done a money shuffle, I'll know where I'm upto.

Tomorrow I'm on a work visit. Hoping for a no spend day, but we'll see.

Right now I'm going to sort my things out for tomorrow, and head to bed. I'm developing a headache thanks to getting a bit emotional today.
