    Been to Slimming World to weigh in and have lost 1.5 lb this week, that 8 lb in 4 weeks so well pleased. Slow and steady wins the race as they say.

    Morning, we had a news report about the ladybirds invading homes ect. The home i have been working in has been getting them.One resident had loads in a corner of her room but we couldn't get to them as they were near the ceiling and too high for us.Haven't seen any yet in my house (touch wood) but might be because the wine don't stay in the glass long enough for them to get the scent..lol.
    I have today off,then working the weekend. Hope you all have a lucky day.

    Looking lovely here this morning.
    IHG have released a preview of their special point deals so I have been studying it. Only one of interest to me I think which is disappointing but will try and book a couple of nights there to go with another night we have booked when it becomes live.

    You are doing great Sylvia. :T I could do to do the same.

    Glad the ladybirds aren't getting your wine indie ! :D

    catching up on my comps cos I started faffing around with
    this n' that and before I knew it the day had whizzed by. :p
    They're still on my 'to do' list! :grin:

    It's a bright, breezy and beautiful autumnal day here - must
    remember to put the clocks back at the weekend too!

    Decided to be good and do my ironing and iron set off the smoke alarm and then started smoking! :eek: It is now on its way to the iron graveyard in the sky. Found DS1's old iron in his bedroom (wasn't that lucky!!!) Can't believe it still works, used it 5 years ago when last iron died. Don't suppose he will ever use it again. Got new one ordered from Amazon now.

    Hi everyone, been busy here today. Went to OH's DD1's today and we went with GD into Leeds. They have a another new Shopping Centre open with a big John Lewis it all looks very prestigious. It is situated oposite the market which has also had a make-over so should bring more trade there too. Managed to get some lovely 100% wool fabric to make some bags with so well pleased with my visit. SonIL cooked a lovely roast beef dinner with home-made yorkies and roast potatoes. Will have to be extra careful what I eat for the rest of the week now LOL.

    Talking of ladybirds we are getting the odd one or two. One flew and landed inside the lamp shade the other day!

    Read that we are expected to have a white Christmas!
