LISA transfer error

Options
I recently transferred my Halifax HTB ISA into my Skipton LISA, with no apparent problems. However yesterday when I tried to top my account up so I reached the £4000 tax year limit the payment bounced. I had spoken to Skipton via webchat the day before and they had confirmed my remaining allowance. I phoned Skipton today and they informed me that when I transferred my Halifax HTB ISA in I had stated it as a "Cash ISA" and therefore anything I paid in during the 2016/17 tax year now counted towards my £4000 limit this year.

I could have accepted it as my error (begrudgingly) but Skiptons website doesn't have an option to select Halifax HTB ISA (Only Halifax (Cash ISA transfer ins)). All the other banks are left blank afterwards, is it an issue with Halifax only?

Has anyone else faced this issue?
