Using Amex to pay HMRC tax bill

Hey guys,
Looking for some help/suggestions please...
I'm self employed and I have a tax bill to pay by the end of July and then again later in the year.
I am wanting to take advantage of the BA Amex platinum offer where you can obtain a companion voucher with a £10k spend in the calendar year - there is also a bonus of 25,000 points with a £3k spend in the first 3 months.
I am wanting to pay my tax bill using Amex but HMRC do not accept that as a form of payment.
I have been looking into getting a prepaid credit andI was hoping to use my Amex as a form of top up method - cashplus is not available in my local post-offices and Ramsdens, Cheque Centre and Money Shop don't accept Amex as a form of payment, With Pockit, you can only top up £249 at a PayPoint using cash only and they too don't accept Amex as a payment method to top up.
So, my question is... Has anyone on here got any experience/suggestions on how to pay my tax bill using an Amex? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You cant do it unless you do a cash withdrawal on the Amex and take the charges with it0

Unfortunately cash withdrawals don't count towards threshold spend... Thanks for getting back to me0
