can anyone tell me what the difference is between the daily mail £10 offer or daily mail £20 offer as when I go to book it asks me which rate I want, obv I would go for the £10 but don't want to get caught out.0

Number of people you are booking for? ie. two folk will be £20, one person...£10

don't think it is that, I've added 2 people and selected a double room??0

What hotel are you trying to book??
For 2 people it should be £20. but will show as;
Daily Mail £10 Offer £20
Room Only
Non Refundable

I am still confused about the £10/£20 option on the booking page.
And where does it say you can have a single room for just £10 as claimed in this thread title? According to the terms, which appear if you click bottom left of the page, it looks like it could be more than £10 if not sharing:Terms and Conditions - Seasonal breaks from just £10 per person per night
1. Prices are per person, based on two people sharing a standard twin or double room, on a room only basis.0 -

I get the above but then another option:
Daily Mail £20 Offer £20
Room Only
Non Refundable
which comes up as double the price obviously, but there seems to be no obvious difference (double room selected 2 people selected)0 -
Strange, I get the 2 options at first then 1 disappears.
You would need to select the £20 option for 2 people.
Is it giving the option to pay £20, or is it at a higher rate??

caroline... just tried doing my dates again that I have already booked just to see if I can get what you get... Interestingly when I click on "select room and rates" it sends me for a split second to an option screen [don't have time even to read it properly!] which then changes straight to a screen telling me that it will cost a total of £34 (including breakfast) for my stay [for two people]...
My suggestion is to click on the £10 offer and see what happens when you continue to the next screen...
Let me know how you get on...
ps. it seems Lynsey gets the same and is quicker at typing...0 -
Anybody having trouble with the site today?i keep getting an error message although it was fine yesterday0

The confusing £10 and £20 options seems to depend on the hotel chosen, some only show the £10 per person per night as expected, but this is an example of a weird one:
1) enter 2 adults and date range 10-20 Jan
2) tick Nottingham
3) click on Check availability
4) after a search delay a new page appears which says "from £20" against each day
5) click on Select room & rates
6) now appears the confusing page. It gives you 2 options under "What rate would you like?" with the choices £10 offer (total £340), or £20 offer (total £540).
It does not explain the difference, so why you would anyone choose to pay the extra £20 per night for the same room?
And I ask again where did it say you can have a single for £10 the room as per OP, because normally a single would be more than half a double, so it sounds too good to be true.0
