Is there a gadget I could buy that can do this, I would like sky upstairs, but can't have any leads drilled through the walls?

There is a video sender at Aldi this week for £19.99. Be aware that you have to watch the same channel in both rooms with these devices.0

I have this one, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thomson-VS680U-Wireless-Sender-Control/dp/B0019M6GZ6/ref=pd_cp_ce_1?pf_rd_p=136153791&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0019M4G58&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=16CCMNZ5R9PA7YB1EBYG
Works a treat & controls Sky from your bedroom.

Am I right that you can actually watch any Sky chanel in your bedroom rather than what ever one is on your main tv?0 -

You transmit whatever channel you are watching on Sky through to your Tv in a bedroom. You cannot watch a different channel on each Tv.
It is really used for going to bed & watching Sky/freeview as long as nobody is wanting to watch Sky/freeview on the main Tv. I hope I have made it clear enough.

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread but it has got me thinking. The box from Amazon is approximately £19 and I was offered a Sky+ box for £49, £30 more. Could I keep my ordinary Sky box, put it in the bedroom, and get the new Sky+ box and put it in the main room? If yes, would I need another Sky card or cables?0 -

Yes you could do that, and you would need cables & a card. This would mean you would have Sky multiroom( £10 extra per month).
Is the Sky+ box from Sky itself? I am not sure but if it is I think you would use your current card & would need a second card for the other box.( Sky would charge you multiroom for this)
Someone on here might have a way around this method.

you would need a quad LNB, more cables, a card and a sub to sky to use the pvr featuresUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0
