    Hey there thanks guys.

Long day yesterday precommitted to for DS's flatmate to help him move.

Today will be mainly bed focussed and I've lent TRG my tiny car so I can't even go anywhere.

Hugs and lots of them to you all.

Gentle gentle I promise and thanks for saying such lovely things you lot.

I've decided that this xmas, will be relaxed, its essentially a roast dinner with fine chums, so no panic on the food shopping, no panic on anything. A few natural inspired decorations to put up and twigs and holly from the garden.

I've a few wee things bought for wiks kids but aside that, I might bake a few bits for family/neighbours and that's it.

    No stress, low key. Natural.

We've booked our holiday for the end of January and have a few extra's coming so thats great. Our side of the holiday has been paid for by TRG selling a few extra bits of bikes etc.

Clever lad. Something is rubbing off eh.

Heard a dreadful programme on the radio yesterday about debt and xmas and how much debt people get into. So sad and quite scary. People were really really upset and rightly so, but the man talking was saying about balance and honesty. He was very kind to people who phoned in. A real young gent.

My xmas list includes ONE boiler suit, socks and a hat. Oh and maybe some bubble bath. Nothing swanky.

    Lovely to hear from you.

Bonus :money: points to TRG for selling "clutter" (don't tell him I called it that ;) ) to pay for holiday. We are going on holiday mid January and that has been paid for entirely from "extra" money.

It is sad that people get in debt for Christmas. It's sad that people feel they have to! Christmas is the same date every year. We all have a year to prepare for it. We'd never be able to afford Christmas if we paid for it all out of one pay day. It's not feasible and we don't even go overboard.

Enjoy your sleep and bed rest today. How I would love to do the same :D

Starnac I'd swap with you in a second but I'm sure Id' scare your family!!

    :)

Its scary the cost of a roast dinner and some family time and a few thoughtful gifts, on one day.

So I need a list, I've been listless (in both senses) for weeks now, so I need a gentle foot up my bum.

Find out when wik and clan arriving (actually not roughly) and plan meals
Do a shopping list after fathom meal plan include pets in this
Need to festive up. Might get lots of foliage from garden.
(Can't decide whether to bling up with reduced tinsel (so not me) or just use a lot of natural stuff and see what might accentuate it. Sales are on so I'm timely in waiting.
    Check oil
Check logs and make sure we've enough and do some next week if we need
Think about who I want to see and maybe bake something for each person rather than spends lot on tat they prob don't need.
Wrap some presents this can be done later when its dark.
Sort out what bedding we need for xmas and new year as we've two sets of diff visitors staying and house full both times.

This list is a list to make lists for doing. Im not even attempting to do this today.

I'm up and about that's the main thing.

I am very excited as I think santa has ordered and might be collecting my boiler suit soon :)

    List for today
send text to DD leaving today from airport to sunny places
check in with ds tonight over skype
    Check banks
Do some volunteer work from home
    Check cc's
    Do work expenses and invoice.
    eat porrige

    Sounds about right
