    Do you have to complete quickly in Scotland or have you the luxury of time?

    We are hoping to move out and in by the end of October, which isn't too bad. We may ask for sooner if it suits all parties, but I think two months is fairly standard. Considering the fact that quite a few sets of sales, purchases and new mortgages need to be wrapped up in a standard chain, that doesn't seem too long?

    That's not long at all. We weren't in a chain and it took us 10 weeks to get the keys - we thought that was quick!
