Why are MSE continuing to use the word 'mule' in the context of bank accounts, when it has such connotations:cool:

Is it wise for MSE who presumably want to be considered a reputable brand advocating £1 DD's to charities?0

How exactly would this harm MSE?ceredigion wrote: »Is it wise for MSE who presumably want to be considered a reputable brand advocating £1 DD's to charities?
For an organisation advocating bank tarting, taking bank bribes and lauding multiple switching to recommend charitable donations sounds good. Thousands of £1 DDs every month going to charities can’t be a bad thing.0 -
Surely the name of this site says it all!! 'MoneySavingExpert', thats why I joined it. We are just obeying the rules of the game, in order to make money.0

I have to say I wasn't over impressed when I heard Martin talking to Chris Evans yesterday on Radio 2 and advocating £1 DDs to charity. For goodness sake if you are going to make a nice little profit and have run out of conventional DDs then be a bit more generous and give £2 pm to a charity
I'm also not keen on the term 'mule'- what was wrong with saying a 'donor'account? Donor gives a warm glow- mule sounds like drug smuggling!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
