It's completely unusable, even for viewing Google Maps. I wish a MSE journalist would take this up.

See the tests a user did in and around Dublin with various SIMs ... even an O2 PAYG SIM was many multiple times faster than a contract O2 SIM.

Thats not good, I thought the new rules state that they cannot do this!

They've been doing it for years.

I often paid the £1.99 a day when abroad and most of the time it was barely usable.

Their data in the UK isn't great, adding a third party network into the mix can only slow matters...
