My Acer Touchpad has stopped working have tried to download drivers and so on and followed guides online but Nothing works I have a usb Mouse which I use but I would like the keypad to work any idea? TIA

Do you mean the touchpad rather than the keypad? on some acer models the tiny ribbon cable for the touchpad has to be disconnected to insert a new hard drive. whoever put the drive in needs to look at it.0

I know you say you have tried drivers already - but this looks like its the correct one is the touchpad driver on this page:

It sounds like a loose cable and that they did not put it back properly
This video below shows a bios setting in some Acer Aspire ES1-512, worth checking just in case
Basically you press F2 Bios key,
On Main Tab you look for Touchpad setting an change from Advanced to Basic,
Press F10 to save.
If you do not mind his singing click play
