Virgin Media tells customers to check online security after hacking risk exposed

Just rang virgin who TWICE have told me the passphrase was set and couldn't be changed on my superhub 2 which I've now had for several years. I requested an upgrade but they just ran a test to see if it was secure and attempted to reassure me all was well. I said it may be secure at this moment in time it doesn't mean it will always be! I told them I had been told I couldn't change it and they now deny it's the case so I raised a complaint for them to investigate back phone calls to locate who told me this twice! So, I've been vulnerable for the best part of 2 if not 3 years! Change it at: 192.168.100.1
