Have you considered just using a payg mobile?0

Loool LANDLINE for the house . .0

Its not any clearer because you put landline in capitals. If you are only going to use it for calls and not internet etc then is it worth considering a cheap PAYG mobile to act as a substitute for the landline?
Not sure what "Loool" means.0 -

Ok one old lady hates mobile phone and loves her house phone,

answer is BT
1. BT do a package called BT basic, this is for people on benefits and is a massive bargain if he is eligible.
2. BT to package called BT Home Phone Saver . £21.99 a month.0 -
It's £9.98pm for the first 3 months then £12.98 after (with some 'free' calls thrown in which you don't need).Maxwell007 wrote: »Is the below a good deal
That doesn't make much sense but it's incredibly expensive for an ultra-low user!2. BT to package called BT Home Phone Saver . £21.99 a month.
You should count yourself lucky that nobody pulled you up for your bizarre spelling of emergenciesMaxwell007 wrote: »Damm what a hard Room today, and theres me thinking the energy room was tough hahah . . . .

At £21.99 per month, BT Home Phone Saver costs just £3 per month more than line rental on its own, but has Unlimited Anytime calls to geographic numbers starting 01 and 02, to non-geographic numbers starting 03 and to premium rate numbers starting 0845 and 0870.
If you were instead to choose a call plan without inclusive calls, calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers would cost around 21p per call plus around 12p per minute. At these rates, just three calls per month, each call just seven minutes long, would already cost more than BT Home Phone Saver.
Calls to numbers starting 080 are free-to-caller on all landlines and mobiles. Additionally, on BT Anytime call plans, calls to mobile numbers starting 071-075 and 077-079 are half price at 8p per minute instead of 16p per minute. Other landline providers offer inclusive calls to mobile numbers within their anytime call plans.0 -
Nobody notice that the OP linked to a BUSINESS line account?0

'no internet line rental' (??)
If I'm deciphering that correctly, you can't have a working landline without paying line rental. It's not rocket science.
Give the old lady an easy to use PAYG mobile for incoming calls only. With a miminum top up. And remember to make a chargeable call or text on it every 3 months or so or the number will be recycled. No free lunch, and no free laptop
