    I'd rather keep the status quo where the stupidity of the naive subsidises my car hire.

    My car hire experiences in recent years have all been pretty good, but going back a few years the two companies I did have problems with were Hertz and Europcar, both on the top 6 list. Maybe they have improved since then but they aren't ever going to be my first choice.
  • Good reading & back up for me for a stong worded negative review/complaint.
    Hired a van at the weekend & was hit with the "extra" insurance charge when i went to pick it up after completing the order online.
    Description online when processing states that items are "included" when infact they are not & they charge you when you arrive rather than building it into the price online to give a clear picture of costs!
