Word of warning to other MSE users on here, Expedia may offer points and loyalty schemes but buyer beware. I had a nightmare experience when they failed to put through my car hire booking, leaving me stranded in an airport car park at midnight. I incurred enormous expense trying to fix the travel arrangements last minute and had to resort to the small courts system to try and recover some of the money once Expedia had thoroughly washed their hands of it. I had paid up front and in good faith expected by booking was valid but it simply wasn't and I could not do anything over the phone to fix it. Great to get the points if you intend repeat booking over and over with them but cross your fingers you won't have an issue. If you don't you'll be fine but from my point of view - never again!0

Can't comment upon the flights, but a 3% loyalty discount on hotels is poor.
Other hotel booking sites offer 10% loyalty discounts for their regular customers - and you don't need to mess about with collecting vouchers either, the discount just comes off the price that you pay, when you pay it

Looks very underwhelming.
Hotels.com (part of Expedia anyway) has offered one for years and it's better than this "new" Expedia scheme, although granted its for hotels only.
Looks similar to the ebookers scheme. I guess since purchasing them Expedia have looked at the numbers and figured it's a worthwhile gimmick.
I'd prefer cheaper prices and offers, but Expedia is now such a powerhouse in the amount of ex-competitors it owns that I guess they don't have to bother as much.0
