What do these changes mean for the old 'up to' 6 years time limit for repairs etc. under the Sale of Goods Act?

You still have "upto" 6 years to claim in court if a product hasn't lasted a reasonable length of time.My views and opinions are my own and do not represent those of my employer(s) or anyone else0

The 6 years time limit doesn't come from SoGA, it comes from the limitations act (which is unaffected by the consumer rights act).You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

According to their website, its 21 days.
However, they'll no longer be able to present it as an "offer" of theirs - since that is a practice that is specifically prohibited.
