Why use S75 against the card provider? Why not also (or instead) against the HP finance provider? They had a much greater financial stake in the purchase.0

and steer well clear of Vauxhalls in the future! everyone i know who's had one has had nothing but problems.0 -

Technically he didn't the finance company got the money, when you buy a car on finance its the finance company that buy it for you.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

A Halifax spokesperson says: "In accordance with Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, we were able to agree a payment to Mr Parsley of £25,711.95, less the sale of the vehicle but plus interest.

Finance was paid off in full in February so section 75 was the only option.0
