whats really annoying is all i watch on BT sport is MotoGP. yet now i am forced to pay for the full package as this is not part of the "Sport lite" pack.
the only reason BT have started charging and putting up line rental charges again is to fund the massive £900 million they paid for the champions league rights. Bu i dont watch football!
why do i have to foot the bill for something i dont even watch?
when MotoGP was on Eurosport it was free to view.0 -
Although I agree with you, it's also true that Eurosport /BBC could have paid more to keep the rights for Moto GP, and all BT are doing is following Sky TV model, of acquiring sporting rights and selling subscriptions to the channel that shows it, and of course no one made the rights holder (Moto GP ) sell to the highest bidder , but they did0

what they are not telling public is that the final game (football) will be live and freeDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Since when has Eurosport been free to view?
It's been a pay to view channel since about 1995."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Virgin Media customers on the XL package that includes the "free" BT Sport are being hit with a £3 per month price rise from 1st September - the letter refers to us getting another free BT Sport channel so it is as clear as they ever make it with their free upgrades (accompanying their more than annual price rises) that this is the likely cause of the price rise.
They have premium packages for sport - I am quite happy not to have the "free" sports channels and let those that watch them pay for them!0 -
Yes the only reason I stayed with BT broadband was to get free BT sport. I've phoned to cancel BT sport and once my contract comes to an end I will change to a new broadband provider. There is no longer any benefit in me staying with them. I think BT should have done the decent thing and let all those in contract keep BT sport to the end of the contract but alas no. They said I could only have BTsport lite if I agreed to renew my contract with them ! So now I'm in contract but no BT sport whatsoever !0

Ofcom didn't agree, but I do. All providers have the right to increase prices mid-term (others have been doing this for years) but I don't like the way BT have done it (changed the sport content line-up I mean). They should have let current contracts run.0 -

Took me 50 minutes on the phone but I got an immediate part refund of £3.12 and the rest will be on the next bill.
Anyone with the Sport HD pack........I have just cancelled mine and in September when it ends I am taking out a new HD package which includes TV channels as well as Sport all for the same price of £4 including a month free.0 -
My bill was sent by email on 18th Aug. On 22nd August I rang to ask why had I been charged £5 + £2.74 for BT Sport, when I have no interest in sport, have never watched BT Sport, and never even asked for BT Sport in the first place. Was told i would get refund on next bill. Next bill arrived today with refund of £4.35, which was from 22nd Aug., the day I rang about it and not from the day it was imposed on me. Will call them tomorrow. Of course if they put it right I'll have to wait another month for the next bill to see if I got the missing amount refunded. Watch this space0
