Third party Amex cards are not covered by the cap for 4 years either!0

I'm glad then thatI redeemed all my points last year - There might be enough for one more small reclamation soon but after that I'll look at the other options.0

The timing of this is somewhat annoying. I don't use the card for purchases but I have 1,000 points in my account, and my card anniversary for the annual points being added is 9th July. I suppose I'll miss out on the annual points then...0

"Axe" is a bit emotive - one can still collect points for another 2.5 months and then redeem in the next 6.5 months - I'm up to ~ 1400 points currently having redeemed 8000 points late last year -so I'm not over bothered one way or the other - will probably switch over to 123 Santander card as I already have 123 current account.0

However that's irrelevant, as the YourPoints cards are World MasterCards0 -

Actually, I was referring to the FAQ section of the article which mentions Amex.0 -
This is very annoying :
I've been using Yourpoints successfully for years (mainly to purchase Easyjet flights) - I've got about 30k points currently, but no travel plans :>((
I also use AirMiles (now Avios). Again this has been useful for BA flights. The problem with these is that the only card I know of that "does" Avios is Amex - lots of places won't take Amex :>((It's only rock 'n' roll ...0 -
vote with your feet and go to a bank who appreciates its customers' rather than make excuses. They will only lose in the end. Plenty of cards with benefits."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Aqua uses it to target poorer credit scorers, so I'm hopeful (no certainty) it'll stay
I remember when Aqua first launched their reward card mid-2012 when it offered 3% cashback.
About 9 months later they withdrew it for new applicants.
9 months after that, with no cap in fees they received, they slashed the cashback to 0.5% for existing customers and re-allowed new applicants to apply too.
I'm sorry, but I'm not so optimistic as you if they are now going to suffer a reduction in transaction fees.0 -
I've currently got 57k points and nothing to spend them on. I think I'll just get M&S, Sainsburys and Amazon vouchers.0
