Excel - writing to appeal

I have read through the newbie thread and after searching the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking board for Peel Centre, Stockport have found a lot of information.
I'm going to appeal on my mum's behalf and just need some advice on the finer points.
She's not very old but a little bit elderly and doesn't understand technology. I was going to email on her behalf but I'm not sure whether to use her email address or my own, or even if I should write the letter and address it from her as she'll open it first and read it and panic. Does it go against us if I email from my email address but 'on her behalf'?
I don't want to make a mistake and cause issues further down the line, IYSWIM.

Nope, create a new gmail account in her name that YOU sign into and use as if you were her. Keeps it nice and separate! Both this and the POPLA appeal must be in HER name but you can write/submit it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will do, thank you very much for the fast response.0 -
Just another quick query.
I don't have the receipt for the items bought. Should I send a copy of the bank transaction (and omit identifying details) as it was paid for on a card?0 -
you can do although its not a free car park so cant see how that is relevant ?
you can try using it and appeal to the retailers and peel holdings though0 -
I already spoke to the retailer and they said they weren't responsible as they only rent the building.0

correct, from peel holdings
and peel holdings own the car park and excel patrol the car park, which is a pay and display car park run by anpr cameras and ticket machines where you input the reg number and its cross checked against the anpr pictures
so buying items (or not) has no relevance to this car park (unlike crown point north which is a free car park with a 4 hour limit)
the peel centre car park is one where you pay and display, then shop on site, even if you buy nothing and dont use the nearby restaurants you still pay to park
so I would use the template letter and forget about the landowner and retail complaints as its rare for them to get involved , although you can try the excel agents on site (check the newbies thread for links to the people who maintain the excel car park there for excel - the hut or room in the corner)0 -

Our appeal is to be heard on 29th. Yesterday I received the 'evidence' from excel. It's huge and quite intimidating, glad I went the copy and paste route. Even though it's scary I still feel confident because of the helpful sticky. Thank you for it.0
