well done vodafone for actually promising that they will not hike contracts mid term! this has to be applauded.
as others like EE and o2 have just got around the ofcom clarification of the rules by putting small print saying they will hike them.
the rules set out by ofcom where to prevent mid term hikes.
o2 and EE just ignored this and found a way around to avoid the rules.
i left o2 because of their mid term hikes. never going back. and any others who play dirty0 -

Been with O2 for years but did seriously look at other options last time my contract was changed. Will definitely consider Vodafone next time round following this announcement.0

Good news. They'll start paying their corporation tax next. It is however good to see companies not exploiting loopholes and consumers willy nilly such as o2.0

Not so I'm afraid. You might like to look at some posts by customers on Vodafone's own forum. I'm unable post the link directly, but if you search yahoo or google on "mobile broadband payg change to topups", this thread runs to 17 pages (and growing).0 -

Vodafone charges increase out of bundle items. If you have used more than your allowance for the last three months and going forward the changes will increase your bill you probably have a good case.
If you have not regularly exceeded your allowance then you may have a case, but it would be hard to prove you may suffer future material detriment on your past history.
Remember generally the UK legal system will act on what HAS occurred not what might..0
