Thinking of you JackieO.
I had a phone call yesterday offering me a job I applied for, I am rather chuffed as there were over 70 applicants and I hadn't done this particular sort of work before.
Hoping all have a good weekend and thoughts for those who are having a hard time.
Off to sort out the war cupboards and make a list of what needs stocking up and look at my work wardrobe, it. It might need an addition or two...Carolbee0 -
Morning all,
Good luck today JackieO I shall have a white wine with you tonight:D
Carol bee well done on the job:T
BB and TTFTM our throw is back on as well.
It's so cold for May, I'm still in winter clothes and taking hot baths which I usually only do in winter:( hope it picks up for Sunday and my DD 10k run.
Today need a few fresh bits but not much food shopping. My new downstairs loo will be finished this weekend and boiler fitted on Tuesday.
We have some freshening up to do, painting our living room takes ages with the high ceilings but it does need doing.
We also need a new curtain rail before I can put my curtains up.
Mum and dad are back from Ribby Hall today sounds like they have had a good week, although very chilly.
I'm in the process of putting my plan into operation for them moving a bit nearer, fingers crossed.
Have a nice day, wrap up warm xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

very fetching.I'm panicking about the wedding we're going to on Monday, only got a wrap thing which matches the dress so it's very thin-shiver.Feel like digging my funfur jacket out :rotfl:.

Well I am back and they are really pleased, my sugar is within the levels that they want and I have lost 12lbs and 2 inches off of my waist, so I only have to go back for a hab1c and cholesterol blood test in August and December and I don't have to go back to clinic until February, still have to test but only once every other day

I hope JackieO's news is as good
Rosy I am seriously looking at getting my thermals out
The forecast is supposed to be sunny for the weekend, but it is from the met office and as such should be taken with a pinch of salt, might have more luck throwing chicken bones in the air
Currently it is persisting down hereBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Sistercas well done to DD2 on passing her driving test.
Helen sorry I missed that it was your birthday - belated Hoppy Birdday wishes.
Carolbee well done on the job offer.
JackieO best of luck with the oncologist; I'll join the drinks party, mine's a single malt whisky - Glenmorangie, if it's available, please.
Nasty wet stuff here, so the washing is on A-frames over the bath.
Dave will be going home this afternoon, so I need to get his bag packed up; I've already done his "postcard" to take with him. I have to do half of it from us, and half from his POV - it's the hardest part of dog-sitting!
I think his last walk before going will be a short one! It's vile out there! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon everyone
Well done BB
Carolbee - great news about the job
JackieO - hope you get good news, fingers crossed

Good luck Jackie. Well done BB on the weight loss and Carolbee on the job.
I've just come home from work, and now I'm off for 10 days.:j
I did all the house work yesterday so I can relax for a few days. DH's best friend is over tonight so we'll have our takeaway tonight and I'll watch some rubbish on tv and DH will take his friend out.
This weather is so stupid. I'm refusing to put the heating on, it's May.0
