Perhaps it would be best to,leave nothing at all, that way you won't have to say anything you are not happy to say.

Thankyou, I had put off leaving feedback for two days but now it was really bugging me as it's like having told some one to wait at the door and not going back to them.

    Thankyou:)

    Soolin how frustrating for you.
However the neutral comment will not put off any potential buyer who reads it and it should soon drop down.
I thank every day that I have still not been left a neutral or neg either by design or mistake!

I've just checked my eBay account and today someone has left me glowing comments' super seller one of the very best and a great item' and then left a neutral.

You really couldn't make this up could you!

On top of no Internet connection all day (thank you Virgin,) at least an hour of probably premium rate telephone calls trying to sort out Internet - I'm having a bad day.

I wonder if the buyer was an ex-colleague of mine. If he bought something from ebay and everything went as it should, he always left a neutral as he says "It wasn't good and it wasnt bad". I'm not sure what you had to do for him to give you a positive, send him 2 lol.

I tried getting eBay to remove it but the nice guy in Ireland said I need to contact buyer and explain he has made a mistake and he needs to remove it. Apparently 'most buyers will rectify these sort of errors as soon as they realise'. I assume I am using the same eBay as the nice Irish guy at customer services is as that doesn't seem likely to me.

Had exactly the same conversation with Ebay about a pos comment/neutral score recently. On their advice (and knowing EXACTLY what the outcome would be before I even started), I sent the buyer a very politely worded feedback revision request, and guess what? They ignored it. Surely not, I hear you all cry!

Perhaps I got the same Ebay customer services bod as you, Soolin, as they assured me that as soon as I explained the error of my buyer's ways to them, they would apologise profusely and alter their feedback to positive.:rotfl:

The only good thing about the whole experience was that the buyer didn't trash my stars as well leaving neutral.
