  • I assume that as the article doesn't mention Diesel, that once again this cut in price doesn't apply to it?

    Thanks

I'll get 60p then. Just a shame that at my local petrol station diesel is 9p per litre more. The difference was about 3p in August!

Just cheap publicity stunts... Give the consumer up to 1.5% discount and have our names plastered all over the place!!

Not only that, but also doing it thinking they are advertising their generosity and support for hard-working families blah blah blah, but really all they are demonstrating is that they act in a chummy little cartel.

    Non news!
  • will we get an article when the costs slowly creeps up by a penny here and a penny there? That is what happens when a 2 or 3 pence price drop happens. Nobody is going to notice a penny either way so fail to see how this is news.

However I do think whilst we're on the subject the people who are shouting about quantitative easing may well have a point. I'm not sure what else could account for the high prices here. Sure there is tax but that's always been there to grossly inflate the cost.
