Huawei Ascend G300 wifi
Dont know if anyone can help but i bought this phone yesterday and i just dont know if my wifi is working or not.
It has remembered the info off my Virgin Media hub but seem to scan then say disconnected.
Does this mean my wifi isnt working? Obviously i'll be using my data allowance so thats why it is still working on the internet but i want to be able to use wifi at home.
Any help as to how i can sort this out would be much appretiated as there is not much info out there for this phone and how things work and im not exactly good with this technology thing, i need it all dumbing down a bit!

Yes, it is worth a try, what I discovered with my belkin router is that other than the PC, if I use my ipod, mobile or netbook with the router and just power down, then it 'throws a wobbly' and requires a re-boot. Now that I know that I disconnect the wifi via the device before power down and all is fine.

I bought this phone recently and unlocked it to use on giffgaff, seems to be a nice phone so far.
Asda runs on the vodafone network already so you wouldn't need to unlock.
