Why do I get the feeling that with petrol and diesel prices falling again, the Government will definitely use this as an opportunity to defend an increase in fuel duty in August? I've already accepted it will happen.0

All the better, my tank is at a quarter full and I've got a 8p off a litre at Sainsburys. An extra 2p per litre cut will put another pound back into my pocket.0

The increase in fuel duty is definitely happening, according to Justine Greening:

damn petrol price news, come back when its under £1 a litre
its not news if its the natural movement of the prices.
can you do 100 updates a day about gold prices?0 -
It should be much lower anyway.0

Yawn. And the day after they might put them up again.
Next on the breaking news: Weather tomorrow will be different to today's weather.0 -
And as usual my local garage- Tesco- will be the last to lower their prices which are always dearer than Asda.0
