TBH you'd have to be crazy to invest in a long-term fix at the moment. The ECB has just raised interest rates, and with inflation running at well over double the target, the Bank of England will have no choice but to follow suit. Interest rates could easily hit 4% by next year, and there will be higher savings rates available.poppy100

Not crazy if the account is similar to the NR 5 year bond that this post is about, with only 6 months notice needed to withdraw funds it was essentially a 6 month fixed bond paying 5 yr rates. It was a very good offer.0 -
