You do realize that Ryan Air will now bring in a surcharge for how many pockets you have. ;)

you do realise that the next charge will be to put anything in the overhead locker. Try sitting ona long flight with a netbook shoved up your jacksy.

I feel the most realistic development the airlines will come up with (if these jackets really take off) if the weighing of passengers and their clothes and luggage combined and charging accordingly.

I would be interested to see how Debenhams came to this figure - is there a section for clothing with multiple pockets?

I have a slightly padded case for my netbook, and tend to cuddle it when on the train! ;)
    Gone ... or have I?

there's something that looks similar to these (item: Ainsley Bodywarmer) going for £7.80 (less 10% and with free delivery if you catch the working code) in the Regatta outlet sale. Grabbit thread here

I have been using one of these for the last two years on Ryanair.
It has multi pockets, but the best is two 12" zipped pockets on the front and the same inside,i carry 2 netbooks and my wife's handbag plus our drink and snacks for the flight, that's four of the pockets used!........ok you may have to unpack it at the scanner but that's no big deal.........it's the Spy-on-air boarding gate staff you have to hide from!

I heard that Ryanair have (somehow?) stopped people using these jackets? Does anyone know if this is true? Or does anyone have any information at all? I have used a multi pocket jacket before and it worked very well but not with Ryanair.
