MSE News: British Airways strike back on

I kept refreshing the arrivals/departures page and the second they cancelled my flight (next week to Athens), I got on the phone to AirMiles, and they were very helpful. I was rebooked onto an earlier flight that day without any trouble.

There was only 6 seats left on this flight, and none on the first flight leaving the next day, so act quickly if you do need to re-book.

Don't know why anyone would book with BA these days. They've had woeful industrial relations for years now, management seem to be intent on pursuing aggressive confrontations with staff and militant unions are being unrealistic about keeping perks and benefits that no other airline offers its staff.

They've had frequent strikes and offer crappy service. Why bother?

See my post above! Airmiles were really helpful when I rang them this morning. Regardless of how you "pay" for the flights, you are offered either a full refund (i.e of your Airmiles if that's how you paid for the flight) or to be transferred onto a different flight.

With regards to the other aspects of your trip e.g hotels, that would be covered according to the terms and conditions of your travel insurance and they don't care how you "paid" for your flights.
