When I went into Asda (Duffryn) on Monday, they were advertising the BlueRay (inc DVD) for around the 18 pound mark. Did they knock a tenner off on Monday night???
Edit: I've just looked online and it is £17.93 at Asda, which seems to ring a bell with the price I saw instore yesterday. Unless they put a special promo on today, sorry but you've made a mistake.0 -

No it's £17.93 for the Bluray + DVD combi pack ONLINE @ ASDA
BUT it was £19.71 INSTORE when I was there on Monday
But the same pack is only £15 in Morrisons
You can get the DVD for JUST £5 at Morrisons IF you had one of the £7 OFF vouchers that was in MOST Sunday papers and at least the Daily Star & Daily Express on Monday.
The "drawback" is that to use the voucher you need to do a £50 shop (not including the Avatar DVD) - otherwise it is £12
However I got mine for just £5 without the minimum £50 spend.
I just found someone queuing at the tills with at least £50 worth of shopping in their trolley, asked if they were getting the Avatar DVD under "the offer" - they said NO :j , so I explained how it worked, gave them the voucher, the DVD and £5 and waited the other side the till for them, whereupon they gave me the DVD
I did wonder afterwards that IF you managed to find a "dozy" till operator that didn't really know the difference between the DVD an the Bluray+DVD combi pack (very very similar), there would be a reasonable chance that they would still accept the £7 off MOC and you'd then get the Bluray+DVD combi for just £8
Worth a try I think - all they can do is replace with the correct item

ASDA were definitely doing the DVD (not Blu-ray) for £8 yesterday (Tuesday) - we picked one up. It's just the movie, no special features, so if that's an issue you might want to hang on. Still cheaper than the pictures though...0

Just ordered on Amazon for 7.900

£8 at Asda. Asda is doing it for £8 in-store.0

This needs to be removed as it's incorrect, no way is the Blu-Ray £8 in Asda.
Ive just been into ASDA (after reading this) and I can confirm that the Blu-Ray is £19.71 not £8. I asked the guy to check and he rang it through the till and it stated £19.71. So dont waste a journey like I did0 -
Just checked my local ASDA and I can confirm what everyone is saying. The DVD is £8 but the Blu-Ray combi pack is £19.71.0
