It makes sense to me also. Their priority is to get stranded passengers home.
I note the inappropriate use of statistics again. The chances of getting a sub-£500 ticket to Australia on BA is very low.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I agree it sounds like a good idea, the IT system is not made to cope with this scenario that BA needs to reserve seats for later booking, and due to the scale of passenger needing to be moved its not like they can just slot people in, the high prices are intentional to allow BA to sort out transfer without people booking flights.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
