TalkTalk Mobile - smallprint looks dodgy?
Has anyone signed up for the TT mobile service?
I was thinking about it as it would mean I could call home for free (90% of my mobile calls). However, I looked at the T&Cs and it turns out that they debit £10 per month regadless of whether you use it or not (And I can't see any way of getting the money back)! As my mobile and landline bills are never above £4 a month combined I would just end up with a massive credit and no obvious way of getting it back by the look of it?
Their standard PAYG prices seem OK for my level of usage, although you do have to pay to pick up Voicemail which is a cheek (I'm with Virgin at the moment and it's free).
I also note that their T&Cs say full details are available from https://www.talktalkmobile.com - which doesn't exist!
If I didn't know better, this would look like an Internet scam to me...

Its a genuine product. Domain names https://www.talktalkmobile.co.uk and https://www.talktalkmobile.biz have been registered by CPW. Neither are up and running.
Basically its Fresh under another name,but you get free calls to and from people on TT.It is piggybacking on to T-Mob.
Basic Tariff.Free calls to and from TT customers.15p a min to any UK landline or Uk mobile network,7p text,15p voicemail.(15p a min to phone Customer service from a landline).
If you phone lots of TT customers could be worth considering but you do have to top up by £10 a month whatever your use.PF.0
