£5 off a £30 Tesco spend, just grab a Sunday paper

Post written 24 June 2008

What's it about?

Grab a copy of this Sunday's (29 June) News of the World for 95p and there'll be a voucher for £5 off your shopping at Tesco when you spend £30 or more. So if you're a regular Tesco shopper then you're quids in (and you get to read Martin's column in there too!)

Any conditions?
  • The voucher can only be used in stores, not online at Tesco.com.
  • The £30 must be spent in one transaction and you can only use one of these £5 vouchers per £30 spend.
  • The voucher can't be used to buy tobacco products, fuel, lottery tickets, e-top ups, prescription medicines, baby milk or gift cards. Nor can you use it in the cafe.
This isn't the first time...

The coupon's been printed in the paper on previous Sundays. If you still have a copy of last Sunday's News of the World lying around and haven't spotted the voucher already it's on Page 22. That voucher is valid until this Saturday (28 June).

Up the savings!

Don't forget to also use your Tesco Clubcard when spending to collect Clubcard points. But don't use the points you've collected in store. Instead keep and exchange them for Clubcard Deals, which are worth four times as much and can be spent on deals and days out such as trips to Woburn Safari Park and breakdown cover. For more about Tesco Clubcard Deals read the Loyalty Schemes article.

  • I can confirm that there will be another £5 off when you spend £30 at Tesco's this Sunday 22nd June.

Just read at News of the world website www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/

YOUR favourite Sunday paper has teamed up with Tesco to save you an inflation-busting £5 when you spend £30 in store!

That means you’ll be able to shop for all your essentials such as food, clothing and electrical goods at a cheaper price.
You can buy extra copies of the News of the World on Sunday (June 22) to use on other Tesco shopping trips for a week.

    Every little helps,

  • You can buy extra copies of the News of the World to use on other Tesco shopping trips until next Sunday June 22

I gather this means you have up until sunday to use the vouchers and not buy the paper on june 22nd
  • They will repeating the voucher this Sunday 22nd June 2008.

Valid for a week from22 june til 29th June.

Not sure entirely what you're saying but there is definitely another coupon being printed in this Sunday's edition:
