    My husband uses tomato feed on all our plants now and I`ve never had such healthy shrubs and flowers .His dad used it on everything and he had beautiful crops of everything.

    i use it on all my greenhouse plants...tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and patti pan and also on outside ones too
    I also using up some miracle grow i found in the shed on the ones outside

    Alan Titchmarsh recommends it for all types of plants.

    I have an old bath that I store water in for the garden. Can I pour some tomato feed into this so I have a ready source of "food" to fill my watering can, or would it deteriorate before I used it all? :confused:

    I'd be inclined to add it to each watering can as you need it.

    It would be an awful waste if it somehow went off.

    The only thing that would deteriorate would be the strength; it won't 'go off'.

    It should ideally be used for those crops that form fruits or flowers; keep it away from roots and leaves or they will be inclined to go to seed faster. There are different nutrients, the main ones are classes as being for roots, leaves and flowers/fruits.

    nitrogen for leaves
    phosphorous for roots
    potassium for flowers/fruits [this is what constitutes the highest proportion of tomato food].
