1. Check your statements.

and if you have used your card there and you did use your PIN,

2. Change your PIN, OR get yourself Chip & Signature Cards.

A timely reminder in the UK Threat Assessment of Serious Organised Crime 2008/09

255. Although chip technology remains secure, organised criminals have adapted some early models of PIN Entry Devices (PEDs) which are used at some retail outlets. A genuine PED can be modified so that it records card information. Criminals also install cameras at the premises where modified PEDs are placed, or install key logging software in modified PEDs to capture PIN data. The card details can then be sent to countries that have not yet introduced ‘Chip & PIN’ technology where they are fraudulently used to obtain money and goods.
