The new version of Computer Shopper (August 08) has a really, really good article where they benchmark 42 different home broadband packages.
They actually tested download speeds, quote customer sevice percentages, contract lengths, download limits, the whole works.
It's the best comparison on broadband packages I've seen.
It also mentions stuff like who gives free static ip addresses..
