Options
https://www.dialwise.co.uk have replaced a lot of destinations with a 07744 number (07744 42 42 300).They claim calls to it are free!!! When you look more carefully at it, its says out of your cross network minutes, if allowed. Please bear in mind that the only network that now allows calls to these 07744 numbers is 02.

This is nuts!! & cannot be very legal
Calls from landlines to 07744... (which is wat it supposed to give & says on their website) are not free but rather they'll be very expensive indeed!!

can't someone report thee people somewhere!v i fear anyone seeing this will be misled unless i'm mistaken myself

No you are not mistaken. It is a very misleading and may result in people calling an 07744 number from a landline which will cost them a arm and a leg.

Calls from a BT landline to the 07744 number per minutewould in fact cost approx inclusive of vat.26p peak.19p evenings.9p weekends.

  • And you have to search quite hard to find the info about cross network minutes on their site. Very misleading as most people use these services from their home phone and that's not free at all.
