Looks like a good account to me, I wonder if the rate will stay competitive or drop quickly after a number of customers have signed up.
That being said it looks like quite a clean product with the only drawback being no rate guarantee and some saver prefer monthly interest.

moving money from IF to Halifax takes 3-4 days, moving from Hx to BOS is instant.

could be instant, could take a while

They are, but FP isn't coming into force till after May.
