5 steps to O2 credit heaven ?

Hi
I just got this on email, dont have one of these sims so can't tell if it works, is this a hoax ?
On O2 sims serial number: 20VMSIMN
1. Put sim in phone.
2. Call any number, it will divert to automated top up message.
3. When message finishes, disconnect call
4. You will receive a text £0.00 credit.
5. You should now have £40 free credit - use it up quick as you can.

This implies the sim has to be new, a current sim would just call the number you enter.0 -
It's been working for some on RPoints. Possibly only lasts for 24 hours.

YES.......this works.
I have found 3 of these sims.
They must have the code O2V not O2M on them.
They are the dark blue ones. (not sure if the green leaf ones have ay of this code)
Think it only lasts for 24 hours. Your balance will still show as £0.00.

is the serial no. on the packet along with the mobile no. ?It is better to regret something you have done than something you haven't.....0

Its on the bottom left of the back of the sim pack.
