There are some pointers as to what to say in the appeals letter - I'd say give it a go as you have nothing to lose.

The National Parking Adjudication Service has details on the appeals process too if that helps.

Seconded. You could argue that the markings were basically non existent and that therefore the bay doesn't actually apply.
  • Its practically invisible and the markings do not appear to go anywhere near the kerb. I think you have solid grounds for an appeal. Also take pictures of the signage and ask on https://www.pepipoo.com

Apparently if you wait 56 days and have still not heard from the council, they've accepted your appeal by default. Not sure whether this is true or not so be sure to research before trying this out.

For other viewers the 56 day rule only applies when the vehicle has been clamped or removed.

For OP - you have nothing to lose by going to appeal. The adjudicators are very keen to see the local authorities "play fair" and now have the power to insist the local authority review your mitigation.

To increase your chances of winning the appeal opt for a personal hearing, these have a very high success rate.

    Good luck

Why did you park jagged lines?
